I have serious problems with any kind of ' animal welfare ' group or organisation who puts the stamp of approval on any form of factory farming - this is something they should just not be involved in - full stop ! The RSPCA in my eyes lacks backbone, and they are responsible for the continued suffering of many animals.
They need to be more like the ASPCA in America - especially New York who has full police/arrest and seizure powers ! They just get in there and get the job done - and the punishment for animal abuse and cruelty is firm and harsh compared to our slap on the wrist laws here !
