here's what's crazy about our reconnection: a few months ago i spent the better part of a night--when i was on deadline--hanging out in the village with jimmy bianco's dad at the bitter end. the dad is friends with ken, the owner? manager? loved bianco senior. he raved about bianco junior. when he told me he played at hotel cafe, i knew he'd know my peeps, many of whom play there. i'm happy to see jr on your page. until i get back to LA, i'm keeping dad in check. ;)
