the following is an email sent by our Relay Co Chair about areas in which we need help for next years Relay. if your interested in helping in anyway write back here or get ahold of Kari using her contact info.

Here is what we have open for Effingham in 2010, but keep in mind that we can also use co-chairs in many positions. Or, we can create any position for you that you think would be a good addition to the RFL committee. 
 
We don't have: 
Logistics - this is a big one...I suggest co-chairs to be honest. 
Youth Involvement - could be really fun!
Team Recruitment/Development - obviously working with the teams
Accounting - work with the bank and teams to turn in money and keep track/celebrate our progress (with Kendra's help) 
 
Areas where co-chairs are especially suggested:
Logistics (as I mentioned above)
Entertainment - an ALL NIGHT job :)
 
Jan and I are so grateful that you are willing to be a part of the committee. It will be a great success this year with so many people willing to help. 
 
Also, we have a gentleman named Chris who is also interested in a committee position. So we will keep you posted on his area of expertise. I think he will want to work with online elements... but you never know.

OMG!!!! Sidhargamesh! All the way! I'm glad you quit smoking cigs, those are bad for your health...lol... Aw! Congrats on your nephews first birthday :) . I am loving that new tattoo of yours. It's awesome! Are you working anywhere now? I'm still working at the restaurant and I work like almost every day. :p But next semester I'll get my bachelors and then hopefully move straight into my masters. How about for you? How long have you got left now? Hows the sigma tau thing going? Oh and Fernando and I are basically like the same person except I'm a girl and he's a guy lol...totally wierd, but good.
I gots to go back to work now, but the next time I'll probably send ya a message cause it'll be too long to be a comment :)

yeah, a leopard gecko. she's approx 6.5 months old so she's still a baby. ^^

hey, i finally saw the pictures of your tattoo. i really like it! and would you like to elaborate a little on the lots and lots and change? that leaves a lot to be imagined...
but as for me, i've been doing all right. i've been accepted to some colleges but i'm not quite sure which one i want to go to yet. my top two choices are u of i and southern california university. i guess i'll go wherever offers me better scholarships. other than that, i've just been trying to get by...i really love it here, but there's really no place like home, you know?

i've been alright.
lots of ups and downs and such, but i'm doing pretty good at the moment, though a bit stressed because my bestfriend and i are trying to find a place to move in together (with her dog and my gecko) and it's hard to find a place which are closer to the city, not too expensive and allows pets. ah, someday, hopefully soon... :)
