Hello out there :)

I am looking for a guitarist to help form a new band!
So far, we have a bassist [me] and a drummer, a singer and, at the time of writing, possibly a keyboardist too.
We're
mostly in and around the Swanmore-Winchester area, but they're fairly
easy to get to by train! We'll have a practice area-in-training at my
house [it just needs a few microphones and amps to be ready]. The style
is going to be a pop-punk-indie kind of thing, if you get what I mean!

Aged 14-18? Enter the Youth Music Underage Festival competition and you could be performing on our 'Music is Power' stage at the Underage Festival in London this summer.

Youth Music is the UK's largest children's Music charity and 2009 is our 10th birthday (Happy Birthday to us!). Over the past ten years we've seen with our own eyes how music can change young people’s lives, so we’re celebrating by hosting our very own stage at the Underage Festival – the world’s largest and best-loved music festival strictly for under 19s.

....Now all we need is some talented young bands, artists, MCs and DJs to put on it!

Just upload your original track and tell us how you would use the power of music to make a difference in your community and it could be you performing at the Underage Festival in London on August 2, 2009

Wondering if you would be interested in coming down to either of our gigs at the Rifle Club, 10th and 11th March (next tues/wed)

It's a fiver, but 4 quid with the flyer, which is on our page.

but dissolvedin + Adelaide, are two fabulous bands which I think you'll love!

We have been asked to spread the word about local gigs opportunities:

Greetings

We are looking for bands and artists to come and play at Cafe Central.

Cafe Central is a community run, young people led, youth cafe that takes place from 7-9pm every Friday evening during term time at The Link, Cosham Baptist Church.

The cafe is for 12-17 year olds and attracts about 50 young people each standard week, but normally more when we have live music.
