Packin' up our rampsand taking them down to Austin, Texas for a bmx comp April 3rd. Mark it on yourcalenders, it's gonna be the first of what I hope will be many more tocome.
We're making HELLTRACKan open class division comp which allows ANY bmx rider to compete. The ideabehind this is to give the local "Cru Jones" a chance to ride andcompete with everyone you see on the big screen and magazines.
Basically, anyone thatlives within a 50 mile radius of the hosting city, Austin, Texas will be qualifiedto win the "Cru Jones" award. So the top placing local will receive afree week at Camp Woodward! As well, Woodward will also be donating a free weekto the top placing non-Pro rider.
As well, Woodward willalso be donating a free week to the top placing non-Pro rider.
Pro purse pays the top10 riders. And there's gonna be a ton of flowed product provided from oursponsors as well. We'll have that list soon and will post them as they come onboard.
Keep in mind thatyou'll be helping out a fellow rider, a portion of allproceeds and sponsorship dollars donated to the Steven Murray StayStrong Foundation.
Even though we areencouraging all riders to come and compete, we're designing the course and compto be similar to that of Pro-level dirt comp, but instead of dirt, the featuresbuilt with SuperRamp Technologies ramps. Simply put, they're gonna be big. We'll post the mockup of the course very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
As for the format,we've been brainstorming what we think will encourage the most laid back compwhile bringing forth the best riders into the finals, without breaking peopleoff in the early rounds. Best of both worlds!
