Ohh, sweet sounds. And although I've just changed my profile song a bit ago, Flood Plain, or especially Old Gowns, is one I'd love to post sometime. I notice this feature is not enabled.

Thanks for adding me as a friend, Heather and Jenks! Your blog has me all a'twitter, as I'd figured Mt. Moriah was but a wistful memory, with but 2 music postings and a couple of photos to enjoy. I'm hoping for shows to accompany such good news of archiving the music. Eah?

[Is it just my imagination, or has your music found me waxing poetic, with slightly odd syntax and archaic phrasings? (grin)]

By the way I noticed you liked Will Oldham and thought I'd point you in the direction of some guys he knows from the UK, an alt.country/acoustic folk kinda group called "quarter-pounder". They're brothers from the Isle of Man who are a little off the wall but with an ear for a good tune so I reckon you might like them. Maybe you know of them already? One of their fans has set up a web site where you can download a bunch of their songs for free at www.quarter-pounder.co.uk Check it out..
