yeah what does a lyrics sheet have to do with anything? If anything it claims that you are a cover band because you read off of lyrics sheets...

congrats on getting an incredibly lame article in the Franklin Post. The writer must have been absolutely trippin' when whe saw you guys because she didn't put any substance in her piece. It was just like, "I like this band, they are cool, I saw them at blah blah blah, and they are cool." Their description of you guys was "What do you get when you mix three friends and a lyrics sheet?" hahah! Just thought I'd let you know.

Wow. That is really, really awesome. Out of anyone in the entire world, I want to meet Ben Gibbard the most. he seems like a really interesting guy.

Haha, yeah Nate worked at the zoo, it's pretty funny. I've met him a few times, he's a really nice and cool guy...

Okay, so about an hour after I was chatting with you, I was watching a video from Paul Green's School Of Rock, and I see another link to a video for the School Of Rock playing Death Cab For Cutie's "New Year..." Not only are you in it, but so is BEN GIBBARD. My favorite artist of all time. What a coincidence that I found this, right after I was talking to you... man, I am so jealous you played with Ben... soooooo, soooo jealous! and I also saw one where you were playing with Nate Query. Haha, my dad used to work at the Zoo with him.

Hey Caleb,
So my new mics have arrived.... They are killer! The AT2020 is perfect for acoustic guitar and vocals, I think I might get a pop-blocker to make the sound a tad bit cleaner on my vocals.
The At2021 is pretty good for micing my guitar amp with or without dstortion. I'll probably put some new stuff up soon so you can check out the sound quality.

Ditto on the 8-track... mine wont upload directly onto the computer so I have to take out the memory card and put it in the card reader, which works about half of the time... Will do... remember to hit me up if you need any gear. :)

I'm looking into the AT2041 package... it comes with an At2020 and an At2021... it's like $150 or so. The At2020 is killer, picks up vocals nicely and mics amps pretty well. The At2021 is for drums and acoustic instuments from what I've heard.
I'm pretty psyched because I've had a terrible time with getting amp sounds through my Shure PG48 vocal mic, which also blows with vocals. I've always loved getting new toys!!! haha...
Once I get these new mics i'll probably record some new songs and eventually be ready to start playing gigs by like July or so.

Okay so Tuesday's and I want shows for are band T.S.S.K. and I swear to yahwey that we are ready to go. We have eight songs and more are on the way out the door. Please let us play at your show or house or basement or bookstore or laundrymat or squat as long as its not shady as fuck, or were ever for that matter. We have songs not just because we love music or want to express what we think, we do it for you. We do it energy and soul, something most bands lack but are scene still and will always do it with soul. So please please please let us play.
