I just remember listing to small fires on the way to work in a small shop in a little town thinking their just has to be a better way so i closed myself off and sang the song to myself to get through the day . It worked and I looked at all the rednecks I worked with thinking if you come closer I will kick your fucken ass witch I would, but thats another matter. The only thing that makes me sad is that when i hear that song I think of those times and I love that song

Small Fires was the perfect soundtrack of one of best moments of my life. It makes me cry and smile at the same time now, thanks for the emotions. They are priceless.

You guys continue to be one of my favorite and most inspiring bands ever. (perhaps the "Jawbreaker" of my later twenties and simultaneously the "Happy Apple" of the East Coast.) I'm glad I got to see you play the Triple Rock a few years back. It probabally wasn't memorable for you, but it definitely was for me.
