Dear Jon,

I've been a huge fan of yours for over 30 years. Back in my college days when I was studying jazz with Lennie Tristano he would have me sing solos with all my favorite musicians including Billie, Prez, Bird, Roy Eldridge, Charlie Christian and more. A couple of my friends heard me scatting and one day brought home your LH&R records and we learned a bunch of your solos together. Your music and lyrics are so special and meaningful to me, and I'm thrilled to finally meet you and hear your music live.

Thanks for being a continual musical and lyrical inspiration in my life.
