I just wanna say I'll miss this place, a lot. So many amazing memories have been made at this here. So stoked for Saturday & Sunday, though. Definitely wish that you guys could stay open, but even though it's closing, I'll definitely remember THG. This past year especially, I could just come here and forget about everything else, and just be at a place that was all about the music. Sundays gonna be amazing/sad, being as its the last show. You're going to have to forcibly make me leave on Sunday, I won't leave until the you make me <3

Well, I knew that the building is on lease from the owner. It just seemed like Pacifist, working there like that and pretty much controlling things, were in charge and could turn it over to another party if they needed to. But if the building owner is just gonna do something else with the location, then I guess there's not much else to say...

Exactly how difficult would it be for Pacifist to turn the reigns of this venue over to a more capable, financially safe local band? Not to say that Pacifist wasn't... But they are leaving for a while, after all.

If it can be well-booked with genre-exclusive shows and properly funded by the individuals who run & operate it (as well as the people who attend the events), Cypress Hall/The High Ground can be renamed once more and reopened for us all.
