They wanted nice publicity but they dont understand
for that event so many people take leave from offices early to see how event it is ....

I seen so many sad faces at metro adlabs
when they come to know tickets are over
even those black curtain people dont hav manners to talk wid others

I am sure they just want publicity and first they gave a chance to them friends
why they play wid us....

I am new to my space. When I got an my first invitation to watch my favorite movie of all time X-Men, I was so excited and I reached Metro Cinemas 5.30, guess what I waited there till 7 P.M in such a senseless queue and still didn’t get a chance to see the movie. This is all I got such a disappointment, What’s the sense as you guys posted “first come first serve” does it mean I should have came there 2 or 3 hrs before the movie schedule and queue up in scorching heat. If this will be the condition of any future event from your side then I have to think 10 times to attend the event.

Jason - on behalf of the MySpace team, we are sorry you missed out. Just to clarify, there was a large 300 seat auditorium all filled by MySpacers. We were thrilled at the support from folks like you and regret you missed the movie. The fact that you left without ny MySpace gear is disappointing and something we will address. Pls understand that making events free (with giveaways, free drinks/popcorn etc) means we do like to make the event feel exclusive to those attending. People who did attend had a unique movie going experience and hopefully felt special to be MySpacers. Moving forward too, we will have screenings, secret shows etc which will be free for MySpacers. But as is the norm, it is first come first serve. Thanks for your feedback and we hope to have you back at a future event. We will work on some of your feedback and trust you will be a vocal user for a long time.

This is regarding the Black curtain show hosted by my space dated 18-6-09. Among the various greiviences I have these are the following in order.
Very bad management by myspace event management crew. No crowd regulation and no sense of logistics. I waited since a week. waited i n the line for more than 2 and a half hours and still didnt get to see the movie. You guys should realize the population and other demographics before saying its a free show. Only 130 seats were booked in a city of millions. How does that make sense? Since the reputation of myspace as a brand is at stake, they should realize that patrons would not take such an inconvenience lightly and would associate this with future myspace endeavours. We didnt even have an apology after waiting in the line for hours. It wasnt just me but atleast another 100 who had to go home disappointed. Its not an apology we seek. We only seek how would my space try to redeem itself from such an embarassment ? In closing Id like to say that its easy for word of mouth to spread and reputation goes in glass cases.

A big thanks to all you guys for showing up and making it a CRAZY, high energy evening. Its a great feeling to so see so many MySpacers face to face and am sure you guys had a good time interacting with fellow MySpacers and in the process watching a movie!

Have to say, we felt REALLY bad for the guys who missed out the show. The next time, we will make arrangements to host more people. Its a terrible feeling to say no to fellow MySpacers.
