If you have jpegs (must be jpeg format) for donated art work, start sending it to ascc.2009@yahoo.com and it will be posted for sale! Include information about yourself, title of the work, medium, size, and let me estimate of sale price.

I am officially collecting up artwork to start fundraising to put on the April event for the Spencer Bell Legacy.  What we are going to do is create a website that will feature the art that is donated for sale.  It is called ASCC Now...artists supporting a cure for cancer now.  So if you have any artwork or know any artists that would like to donate, let me know.  Or you can send your work to:

i just got my copy of fuedal, brutal and the american dream yesterday, and i can't pull it out of my cd player!!! i love it. my favorite song is still 'go to hell'. my husband even likes it, and that is saying a lot, because he hates everything!!!!
i wish i could have known spencer. i wish he was still around today-to put out good music for tomorrow.

I am working with the Spencer Bell Memorial to possibly do an event at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival in Dallas, TX in April of 2010. Right now we are working to see if we can gather enough interest to make it a viable fundraising option. The idea is to get a booth in the artist's space and sell artwork that has been originally created or donated to the event for proceeds to go to adrenal cancer research in Spencer's name. If we gather enough interest, we might also try to link this up with bands that are friendly with the memorial, in an effort to gain more attention and create more awareness.

My question is whether you know of any artists that are friendly with the memorial that would be willing to create works or donate works and attach their name to this event?

So tonight I went to the 100 Hundred Monkeys Concert, and it was amazing!, as expected!
But you want to know what the best thing was?
Them singing a couple of your songs Spencer, and me being able to sing a long, and sing back every single beautiful word you wrote down.
While everyone was screaming, "Ben(x2)" "Jackson" or "Jerad", I was screaming "SPENCER BELL LIVES!"
That only made The Monkeys scream back at me.."Yes Spencer Bell!"
People would scream "I LOVE YOU JACKSON", and he would simply reply with.."I love you Spencer Bell", and that was beautiful to me.
Its so beautiful to see how very much alive you still are through your art,fans, family, and most of all your music.
I wish you were still here to see how many lives you continue to touch to this day with those raw and insanely beautiful emotions, because I know you touch mine<3

Just got my copy of FBAD and I've listened to it so much it's almost worn out.. between Spencer's tunes on my iPod and the cd, I can listen anywhere I go! Thanks so much-- I'm really happy that I discovered his music and thank you and the bands on MySpace who continue to spread the word about his art.

Spencer's music is amazing and I wish I would have found this sooner... I hope that when he looks down on us he sees how his music and lyrics have touched so many people and inspired some to do things that they never thought were possible.

when I visited your site, I read about your project’s background and listened to Spencer’s music, it really touched me. I know how fast some things can happen sometimes and what these people left behind, therefore I can understand what brought you to this action.
