ok soi decided to go all natural (neglect method) and its almost been a month since i havent combed my hair and my scalp is flaking like mad and i heard tea tree oil does the trick but my main concern is that all that hard work doing nothing and waiting will go away or the knots forming now will slip due to the oil which is a lubericant i have thick straight hair so any advice will help alot thanks one love - marco

heyy Slang and co.
was wondering if you could give me any input/advice on dying locks?

I've heard alot of horror stories about them becoming brittle and breaking off after dying..my locks are going on three years in maturity.

Thanks!! I did have to cut a bunch of the dead ends off- but all-in-all, my hair survived really well! It did take about 2 weeks of working on it every night to get them all out, but I really didn't want to have to shave my head.
