Juxtaposing contrasting styles in both their music and image, the band flaunts a Euro-kitsch appeal where Kraftwerk-meets-Ladytron, irresistible energy and synth-pop glitz that will get you shaking before you know it. Clearly the star is Malcolm Fraser, a cross between Jarvis Cocker and David Bowie, theatrical posturing sufficiently lighting a fire on stage. A hyper-sonic racket with machine-like precision, after the last note, you still can’t wipe the smile off your face.
