Funny how much we change over time.

I found the following while reading some of your old blogs:

I don't think Dems are getting 60 and I don't think he can govern as liberally as people assume because this country seems to be center right.

I think there seems to be two kinds of conservatives. Ones like you who base your beliefs on facts and experience, and those nutjobs McCain was pandering to towards the end... but then again, I'm not sure you can label them conservatives.

Is the traditional conservative belief smaller federal gov't and larger state gov't?

First of all, his comment about Pilosi was pure sarcasm...he can't stand her. I really hope you got that. I'm guessing though that you didn't so much.

He and I both seriously dislike Hilary Clinton. Like, we both would rather see McCain in office first.

Second, he is incredibly good at what he does, and is widely respected because he works his ass off.

I just checked and it does seem kinda high even for three blogs. Maybe it's still counting yesterday's numbers? Don't know.

But something is kinda funky because I've twice now accepted comments that aren't showing up. Including the one you just sent me.

And you could have lots of lurkers. People seem to be tired or and intimidated by political discussions. I think more people read than comment. I'm lurking, reading, not commenting cause I'm too sick to argue. Not to mention that my sick baby is taking ten minute naps at a time that leave me little time to read much less respond to my own blogs.

Where Dan Rather's CBS report did contain faulty documentation, and I'll fully admit that, the story is quite accurate.

He refused to take a drug test, going AWOL to prevent taking it, and when he went back to the Alabama National Guard, which, by the way, WTS, why Alabama?, he took a drug test and was put back on duty after what was it? Eight? Nine months? He served no time in the brig and never faced a court marshall for the offense.
