HAIRCUT TOMORROW!


I'm excited, but at the same time I am sad. I'm going to miss my old hair. But whenever I get sad about it, I remind myself that its going to a good cause: kids with cancer. (I'm giving it to them) They need it more than I do, right?

Hm I will try to plan a visit but I am totally broke right now. I also have to start saving for:

Thats awesome - my sister just got back from Australia yesterday too!!! Bet you had the best time. I went to TRC afew weeks ago - struggled on some 5.8's.....slightly out of practice!!!

Yeah, thats what i meant by upper body..

I've been doing crimp lockoffs, offset pull ups, bump training (3-2-3-2) and more......


so i think im ready.

i think my footwork will come back easily, since its one of my strenghts anyway.


do you know if theres gonna be any roofs?! Because roof climbing is my current style and obsession...

my ankle is still hurting, i havent trained for 2 weeks, ugh!

but i have been doing upper body and abs workouts, so i still have a chance.

I traversed for an hour straight today.

i felt like i was just warming up...

i was trying to switch around holds and moves to make it harder but i still felt solid till the very end. It was just super boring... i wish i could find my ipod!!!

Hey i was sitting in my room and the TV is on in the den and I heard "CLIMBERS FROM USA CLIMBING" and i sprinted into the room to see some kids in yellow shirts climbing the rino.... thats cool!!! Did you see that? or do you know those kids???

Well actually I don't really know about it..... I think I'd much rather visit YOU in NY since i NEVER get to do that........ ya know!?

My dad said i have to ask my mom and see if there are any cheap plane tickets....

But i mean, if you end up coming HERE for thanksgiving then we MUST go climbing outside one day, right!?

thats funny.

anyways, i did pretty good.. i mean, i probably have told you this but i dont really see triple crown as a competition. (i see ABS and SCS as comps!!!)

To me, Triple Crown is just an extremely fun weekend where you can pull down on real rock and see all your friends from all over. Its more like a hang out and climb session rather than a comp.

But back to the comp part: I entered into intermediate because thats what i did last year and i mean, i never WON so i thought i would do it again.

i ended up flashing a v5 so i was like "hm... if i can FLASH a v5 i bet i can do more v5s here!" and so i got on another one and did it 2nd go. At that time i knew i got bumped to advance, but i mean i didnt care -- i was there to climb my best and have fun ----> and not to sandbag!

so i hopped on a v6 and did it too...

and those are basically the only 3 hard problems i did. The rest were v4s and such. So I mean, i didnt PLACE well but i still HAD FUN!!!

it's like i am way too good for intermediate but not good enough for advance!? I will get better though! =D

I think I am going to own the LRC comp if i have an on day --- i know those problems well!!!

anyways it was cool seeing Charlie. I knew I recognized him! He thought my name was Shannon at first, haha. I gave him credit for knowing the "sh" part! (SHannon... aSHley... you know!?)

anyways, how did he do?
