Avoid swimmer's hair:  Mix equal parts water and leave in conditioner and soak your hair before you get in the pool.  This will help keep your hair from soaking up pool water (and damaging chlorine).

Growing your hair a little longer or combing those few strands across the top of your head to make it appear you still have hair? You are not fooling anyone. Quite the contrary. When your hair is thinning, growing it out will emphasize the fact that you are losing it. Best option? Cut it off - all of it. A buzzcut or shave will minimize the receeding hairline and make you look younger, too.
