[theorem_003] [2009] Burdeos & Kowalski - I hope you are well

“I hope you are well” es el título del tercer volumen de la línea de referencias
theorems. Una serie de trabajos concebidos en formato vídeo que reunirá a artistas
visuales, productores de música electrónica y proyectos a/v de la escena nacional con el
objetivo de plasmar el personal punto de vista de cada uno sobre la interacción audio/
vídeo. A los dos primeros trabajos, firmados por Amanda López & Krater, y Normaa. les
sigue ahora “I hope you are well”, un trabajo compartido por el productor sevillano
Burdeos aka Agua Oxigenada y la artista visual Kowalski.

Inspired by lords as George Romero, Max Brooks, Goblin or Zombie Zombie; Echtra starts as a sonorous experiment
to discover with its music, apocalypse, shadows, primitive.... something like the soundtrack of the end of the
world.
After their debut with the track “Apuntar a la cabeza” included in the compilation, coreleased in collaboration
with the german label rec72, “Of men and machines” (avtheorem_017), Echtra EP is the start point of a brilliant
project around the krautrock, the electro and the psychedelic rhythms. A band of vintage synths and solanum lovers
that will transport you to the catharsis.

"Of men and machines" es un homenaje a la relación entre el hombre y las máquinas. Un tributo a la simbiosis
perfecta que se puede llegar a dar entre unos y otros. Desde la aparicion de las máquinas, éstas han ido
intimamente ligadas al concepto de progreso, al de evolución. Cada generación de máquinas es aun más perfecta y
gracias a ellas, el salto que se produce paso tras paso en la evolucion del hombre, se multiplica exponencialmente.
Of men and machines es un ejemplo de como la creatividad humana se multiplica trabajando junto a las máquinas.

18 artistas procedentes de diversos puntos alrededor del mundo exponen en Of men and machines sus personales
relaciones entre ellos mismos y sus maquinas a la hora de producir emociones y sonidos. Los netlabels Audiovisual
Theorem y rec72 emplean la misma relación aprovechando su infinidad de posibilidades y colaboran en un
recopilatorio que viaja entre a través de la IDM, el dubstep y la electrónica experimental sin perder de vista
los ritmos de baile.
