Poking about on assorted MySpace friends pages, and just wanted to say that the I enjoyed listening to the music you've posted. Some day at some con we'll have to jam: me on my guitar and you on percussion (it sounds like). What other instruments do you play? I am assuming piano/keyboards.

Wow! John, I don't think I ever listened to your songs. They are excellent. You are very subtle in your layering of sounds, and the recording is great, too. Hope I can hang out again with you at a con. My band is STARCRUISERS, so if you get a friend request, that's me again. Your friend in Oklahoma, David Lee.

2. Black Hole Blues;
3. The Air Got Sucked Out of My Lungs During Decompression--and It Took My Love For You With It;
4. I Love You, and You and You and You and You (Clone Song); and the title track:
5. Kiss My Ass, Earth!

It will shatter your senses and blow your mind, not necessarily in that order... available today only at:

You Rock, John!

I finally picked up The Ghost Brigade off my shelf last week and I just finished reading it today.
Man, what a story!! I didn't think you would be able to outdo Old Man's War, but you have, my friend! This is an awesome book!!

Besides the relatable characters, cool technologies, and alien worlds that you have created, I like how you delved into the philosophical and ethical discussions (soul vs. conciseness – reminded me of Blade Runner; a government's responsibility to ethics/honesty vs. defending (using) it's citizens at all cost for the good of the masses, etc. – especially the perpetual war the CDF was being accused of perpetrating, reminded me of George Orwell’s 1984).

I can’t wait to follow the adventures of John and Jane and Zoë on the The Last Colony.

John, continued success in everything (especially writing, just for our selfish reasons :-))

Nice job, John!
