Austin the dashit! :D haha no seriously, i'd rather be a bum on the street here in austin than ever go back to medford.
I can't even try to describe why its better... it just IS. The people here are REALLY REALLY friendly, like everywhere you go people make eye contact, and people start  conversations with you and actually take interest. I meet new people every single day! Its amazing. And people are helpful too, like looking for jobs, if they aren't hiring 98% of the time they will recommend somewhere to try. 
Then just the fact that theres EVERYTHING here, the town has 5 malls! lol and everything stays open hella late because theres a lot of night life. Its great, you'll love it if you make it here. When are you leaving?
