NECK [ New album - Come…
Dec 15, 2009 1:40 PM
Howyiz everyone at the Punk Information Network!
we got a new album OUT WORLDWIDE NOW!!!!
Full download / distro details are in the Blog on our profile
+ we've hit the road to tour the album,
& are rolling through the UK, with Europe &, hopefully, the USA to follow.
Recorded with the maestro Pat Collier, as the blarney says:
"...it's a muscular, lean, musical hay-maker that can stand it's ground & slug it out with the best of 'em!"
‘"...a full-on and in your face aural assault. A record that combines the pathos of The Pogues, and the punchiness of Stiff Little Fingers to mesmerising effect." - Big Cheese Magazine
'...easily as good as The Pogues ever got... Neck's finest moment yet and another fine hooley of an album by the best Irish Punk band in the world!' - Organ magazine
‘... 'Everybody's welcome to The Hooley! exemplifies Neck's riotous sound: with it's anti-racist lyrics and reel halfway through, as if The Clash were born on the Emerald Isle!’ - The Irish Post
'...my favourite album of 2009 so far. One release not to be ignored! 10/10' - Street Voice
'...Neck stand on their own two feet, both arms swinging and deliver anything as powerful as their peers: Irish Trad folk teasing with the left whilst a punk rock uppercut delivers the sweet final blow!' - Distorted Magazine
"I love Neck! ...definitely my album of the month!" Garry Bushell
& here's the very fella:

LAST GANG IN TOWN STRUMMERVILLE BENEFIT & LAST GANG’S 6th BIRTHDAY GIG
THE YALLA YALLAS are a fantastic punk rock ‘n’ roll band from Leeds. Their name was chosen as a rallying call to unify. “So long liberty, lets forget you didn’t show. Not in my time” a sentiment expressed on an early Joe Strummer recording & one which struck a chord with the band and their audience. Some members have appeared in The Dead Pets, 3milehigh & The Gushers & they now share a common goal to bring anthemic mayhem to wherever they play.

THE TAGNUTS Cambridge “Gimp-Core” ska punkers are back! After almost a year away The Tagnuts are ready to do it again. This is the hometown night of a UK tour that sees them playing across the country.http://

THE TEN-O-SEVENS These four lads combine elements of early punk rock with the sound & attitude of the most obnoxious of garage punk bands. Their songs are fast, loud, snotty & catchy simple chord tight style tunes that will stick to your head like cheap superglue!

THE DEAD BATTERIES They are fast, they have a lot to say, and they say it with venom! Great anarcho punx from Ipswich, don’t miss them!
