That is a breech "safety" flag to let everyone know the gun is safe when changing targets and whatnot.

Yep, the safety lever gigantic. I barely use it at the range anyway due to the reason above.

I sold the head and cab, bought a new cab after relizing what I did. But Im sort of a fan of the Randall warhead sound I got. I got quite a unique sound from it, makes me happy. I'm working on getting some recording stuff now, trying to fit that around other bills.

I'm on ultimatemetal, I'll take a look at that one too. I dont mind the bridge too much I just go steve vai style ;)
Yeah I deffinatly like the 1570 for the 3 pick up selection, was thinking of throwing a full shred/or invader in the bridge and a jazz in the neck. I do lots of leads and some heavy rhythm. Reason for me getting the guitar would be my love of all music, obviously one guitar cant do them all. John Petrucci, Children of bodom, zepplin, to ac/dc.

I should have organized the gear a bit better when I took that pic - the power amp I use with both of those pre's is a Mesa 2:100 with EL34 tubes.

life is great man. i'm in 4 groups at the moment with which i am playing a bunch of gigs in the area. the jazz comp classes are intense but as expected, i'm getting a shitload out of them. otherwise, i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to be doing for the summer and beyond. speaking of which, if you're around, the three of us (you, george, and myself) have got to get something going atleast a couple times over the summer. at any rate. peace.

Thanks for the comments and support!

The audio recording of the show on the video sucks in that all of the low end is completely missing. We believe that this is why the balance sounds so weird between the clean and the distorted parts. We also think that this is why Aldi's J.P. Music Man is by far the loudest instrument in the mix (lack of low end live) and the Dean 6-string bass along with the 7-string Loomis isn't nearly as loud as it should be. Other recordings we have turned out with tons of low end and emphasis, but with lots of distortion because the SPL's from the low end instruments were too high for the mics on the video camera to handle.
