Lonely Vagabond	Apr 26, 2008 7:56 AM Toronto is experiencing a mini-renaissance of 60's-meets-Britpop rock thrills. Enter the 6ixty8ights. That was a great set at the El Mocambo. Dynamic uptempo riffs, sunny harmonies, solid key-laced pop, a sprawling Beatle-esque sweetness. Stuff like this is like peering into the archway of yesterday, and infusing it with something more contemporary. Peace, love, and dammit, some of the catchiest UK inspired music in the city.

Lonely Vagabond	Apr 13, 2008 6:29 AM That was a great set at The Neutral. Genuine enthusiasm merging the souls of Spoon, Britpop melodies, and that catchy 60's spirit. Really a dynamic band that's cohesive and tight. This is how rock is supposed to work.

Carlin's ultra-cool presence, rapturous keys, combined with catchy energetic gems will appeal to a range of fans encompassing Britpop, Pavement, and Wilco. Enthusiasm guaranteed.
