you guys rock in ways most people here forgot about. you deserve freedom. you deserve to be heard. my people(Seminole tribe-unconquered) were labeled insurgents once or twice by the same government. i was enlisted in our military until we invaded your country. i dropped out because i knew then the war was unjustified. i would love nothing more than to play "macine gun" by jimi hendrix in downtown baghdad opening up for you guys. by the way, hendrix music was described as "pieces of heavy metal falling from the sky"...the first recorded reference to heavy metal. don't know you, but i love you guys. thank god for the movie.

Your story is an inspiration to musicians all over the world. It shows the triumph of the human spirit in the face of great adversity. It is also good for us Americans to see, because it puts a human face on the people of Iraq. You are just like us, with hopes, dreams and loves. We can't help what our government chooses to do, just as you cannot. I hope you guys are alive and well and that you continue to play music.

Acrassicauda has lived it's music, something that most other bands cannot say anymore. And your determination to not give in and give up is inspiring. You guys are a real inspiration...just your dedication alone gives me hope as a musician. Music is a freedom and expression no one can take away. Even if there are no instruments, it's all right there in your head. Keep doin' it guys, never give up hope.
