Hello there,

Tonight there's a lot going on at the Flying Duck.

The whole spectacle starts with four bands:

Ming Ming and The Ching Chings are loud, fast, weird, they smell... the perfect ingredients for some powerful pop explosion tunes that make you tap your toes like crazy.

The French Wives send you into rapture with their sweet and catchy melodies, but not long enough to make you cringe, they will get you right back into the real world within some heart/drum beats.

Washington Irving's lead singer makes you feel at home with his charming Scottish accent. And home is where the folky pop fascination is.

M. put some loud punky noises, some small folky sounds and harmonies into a big pot, stir it, mix it, and the result is interesting. And sounds good. Especially their cover of No Limit.

Then after you've survived and enjoyed all this, Jimmy The Asbo and Spuddbot v.3.1. will be choosing the tunes for the rest of the night.

You better be there.

We are playing four live tracks on Vic Gallowy's show on Radio 1 on Wednesday night 11pm till 1am in connection with the "With Handclaps EP" which you can download free from www.winningspermparty.com on said evening. The following night (Thurs 7th) at The Ivy Bar on North St in Glasgow, Cry Parrot and WSP are hosting a launch featuring sets from Sparrow & The Workshop, Blood Orange and Jodi Cave. Starts about 8pm.

Man I wish you guys hadn't been stoned for that, would have been great to hear a story about Fearg beating someone up as it's not happened in a while. Going to la discoteq tonight, drinking tonnes of gin and sangria just now. The clubs don't open til 2am so we can party til 6 then get some tapas in the morning on the way home. Went to the beach yesterday and saw every variety of breast available, which was both delightful and disgusting by degrees. Can't wait to see the dark knight but heavy don't want to go home! Hefty catch 22 x
