Just a reminder that I'm puttin on a fun event this Sat the 29th called Unity Unplugged II at Memories in Marshalltown from 5:30 pm-1:00am. It costs $3 and is to raise awareness, money, and school supplies for Kids Against Hunger and 2 schools in Tanzania and Brazil. There's lots of live music by musicians such as Jordan Mayland, Jason Sturges, Bernie King, John Burns, Lady Blue, Ben Wantland, Greg Mack, Mali Kan, Tubabu...There's also yoga, a book sale, silent auction, raffles, contests, a bar, food, open mic/poetry reading, vendors, info booths, foosball...Also that morning there's an African drumming workshop at Pizza Ranch party room from 10-noon for $12 taught by Mali Kan.
