KINKY STAR records	Mar 22, 2007 3:43 PM Dag vredehouders Bij Kinky Star is uw demo goed aangekomen en beluisterd door ons demoteam. De review valt op kinkystar.com te lezen, en hier: "Equinox The Peacekeeper 1 If You Don’t Mind (I’m Going Home) Erg goede stem, doet denken aan Lou Reed (en dan zeker ‘Sunday Morning’ van de Velvets). De tweede stem komt soms wat storend, maar niet overdreven, over. 2 The Queen Of Silence Hier valt de goede productie op, alsook dat dit een erg mooi nummer is. Prachtig om na een zware werkdag thuis bij de haard op te zetten en lekker onderuit te zakken. 3 Paradise Cost Ingenieus gebruik van slide-guitar. Verder erg sfeervol, een geslaagde heartbreak-song. Dit mocht wel wat meer whisky en wijn, en minder wierook en wiet als basis hebben. 4 Toucou’s Dream Klinkt dan een stuk meer ‘been there done that’, en ook de fluiten mochten gerust elders hun heil gaan zoeken. Iets te folky bijgevolg. 5 Ribbedebie (Kom We Zen Weg) Vocals vallen te weinig melodieus en bijgevolg nogal saai in. Hier valt ook op dat bij de twee vorige songs het hier nogmaals mooi gebruikt geluidstapijtje – met leuke vrouwenstem – verdwenen was. Kan tellen als outro. Conclusie: drie van de vijf nummers van deze demo kunnen ons mateloos bekoren. Een dikke voldoende dus."
