Great gig at the Academy2 in Birmingham, Rick proved he's still got it and The Dukes sounded awesome. Look forward to hearing you again sometime in the future and I'll see you at the Shed Seven gig in December.

Those of you familiar with the punk scene countrywide may know of Graham “Big G” Bowsley and his recent death after a short battle with cancer. Always at a gig somewhere (usually in the mosh pit) and always with a smile on his face, Graham was what you could truly describe as a live music fan.

St Leonard’s Hospice took such good care of our good friend and customer, that a benefit gig is in order. And, to that end, on Saturday July 14 from 2pm, eleven bands line up to delight (or hurt) your eardrums and annoy the hell out of the neighbours.

Every penny of ticket sales goes to St Leonard’s Hospice, none of this “profits after expenses” nonsense.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at £5 silly cheap, from the venue itself, Fibbers and Ticketweb sites, Hotline 0870 9070 999 or The Junction on Leeman Road. The wristband gets you in and out at will all day and night. Job sorted. Let’s pull together and make this a day to remember for Big G – we’re pretty sure he’s watching from somewhere.

Why is it that everytime you do a gig near me either nobody else can make it or i can't make it! I travelled to york to see the album launch on dry land (!) but since then, couldn't make it to Leeds and am going to a wedding when you are playing in Barnsley. As my 4 year old would say "It's not fair!!!" (arms crossed and cross face! LOL) How about you come and meet up with me and my friends at our mini reunion on 11th August? You're more than welcome.
