Deg I Cank Records	Aug 9, 2007 6:31 AM Hi, I'm putting together the Degicank Fall Sampler '07 right now. There is no $ involved, I get 10-20 bands together and print as many cds as I can afford for a few weeks. I mail out some but mostly just give them out to people I encounter. I include a note asking people to make more copies. Basically my hope is that 10 bands will show the music to 10x more people. If you are willing to put a track on, please send a file (<10megs) to degicank@gmail.com, or if you are "hardcore” mail a CD to: Degicank Records 119 Mt Vernon St. Ext. Springfield, VT 05156 The samplers are getting stronger each time (every 6 months). I include each bands web address and a note urging listeners to check you out. Why do I do it? Because I'm always in at least one of the bands showcased. I had a big plan for this stuff and sold 19 shares at 50$ a piece earlier this summer, but things went awry and I sent the money back. So Still lo-tech handmade burnt CDs... The Spring Sampler was a big success, and I got copies to some guys from Phish, and some folks from FOX who were in my town for the Simpson's Movie Premiere. I want to start planting the seed in band's minds for a tour in '09. Just keep it in the back of your mind... Take care, Joe
