me 'n' dad... we've kind of grown apart.  he's a little too much... in-a-heavy-metal-band for me, maybe that's it.



but I was listening to Hall 'n' Oates the other day and it was EPIC.  and on VINYUL!  with a RECORD PLAYER!

I had a dream that you were in last night.

don't much remember the specifics. ummmmm... I think my family was going on some sort of road-trip? you were at a book-store, I think? looking up something on one of those computers only employees are supposed to look things up on, but sometimes you do anyway because there are no employees around and you really really need to find where that book on the Tour de France is cos you're kind of in a hurry and you need it in a jiffy cos it's your dad's birthday and you've got to get to his surprise party because you're the decoy who he takes to a movie while they're setting up all the chips and soda and stuff and you go to see that movie "The Kid" that has Bruce Willis in it, wtf is Bruce Willis doing in a movie with that kid from that Disney Channel Original Movie that had Miranda and Twitty from Even Steven's in it but anyway you think your dad would really like it because even though he's not such a fan of Lance Armstrong anymore he still kind of likes the bike races and all that and photograph books are just simple enough to be a good birthday present because if they don't like it it's like, okay, well, this is kind of a vague present, it's not something so specific like a season of a teevee show or something, or like a bunch of puzzles, like one time for Christmas/my birthday my dad just gave me a bunch of puzzles and I was like, what is this, Dad, I'm what, thirteen, and you give me puzzles, I don't even like puzzles, though of course I didn't really say that to him? something like that?

I don't miss Gusdoll cos Gusdoll is always by my side. well, kind of more my back at this angle.

there is a guy at my school who looks like Chris Cain. as in, like, he has the beard/glasses/plaid thing going on, but also just really looks like Sir Cain. I never ever saw this guy until recently I went to this school play my friend was in and he was playing the guitar in the back-up band. now I see him all the time and he is always carrying a guitar (which looks sort of like a bass). he is also not in the school yearbook. also the rather-inspiring movie "17 Again" came out recently. also Senor Christopher Ian Cain is a verified Zac Efron lover*. also I have not seen my "dad" (you) in a while.

Well, I guess you have a point there. Maybe I just like the theater because it's so pretty and large. It reminds me of the theater I went to in New York to go see Hairspray in during 8th grade.
