The Trials and Tribulat…	Jun 19, 2008 7:00 AM Ya know I'm kind of pissed. I was going to respond to your kind words, and I was going to give what I thought would be a brilliant review/summary of what I see in Los Hijos Unicos. Then, I pick up the Advocate today, and I read that goddamned article, and it said things I was going to say, almost word for fucking word. I demand satisfaction! I did find it funny what are turning into the striking similarities between our two bands. You cover the neo take on Country, and we take the Old-Tyme Folk, while both writing very political, socialist, protest songs. Good cheer my dear friends. Good cheer indeed. We shall play many more sets together. Many, many more. I am warning you though. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep this folk thing going, before I end up reverting back into my usual 20 minute long, one chord, bowed guitar malays, of which I've somehow repressed the animal like urge I have in me to do so. But even then though, we will still play many more shows together. Many more. Even though I have about 28 seperate instruments per any given song on the upcoming record, I will fit you somewhere in there. Even if it's Ryan and Andy just saying "hi" somewhere in the mix, it will be done. Now go, teach them the ways of country music, god knows someone has to. Your Friend, -T&T
