5...oops my hand bumped that button. I'm currently doing my Italian lesson. I'm really in the mood to travel and for it to be warm and inviting. I want to go to Jockey's Ridge in NC. But I have to wait for spring for that. Hpmh. Well I'm also wondering what you're doing and are you learning a lot and all those other questions you expect to hear when you're not home. ok..here's a different one..How's the food!? Yo dude -- I need a movie made... It's a short flick and will have an unlimited budget for the script that I have -- LMK if you can direct ..... it only has one actor but he takes direction pretty well.

Well, everyone that I know that saw it and talked to me about it LOVED IT!!!
I just don't know where you are getting your information from -- you need to talk to different people on the planet :-)
If they didn't like it -- it was probably because they are clueless about what it takes to make a movie -- it's not like you have your own private studio with 100 writers, editors and staff working for you with 10 million dollar cameras and equipment on hand....
One Day you will and then those who are uneducated in the matter will ooooo and ahhhh at your films - BUT it will still be meaningless because they wont even know what they are ooooing and ahhhing at.
Making a movie is far more than what you end up with - it's the whole process. Unfortunately, just like in art, uneducated people just see the last stroke of the brush and judge the whole canvas by it. I do tend to judge the effort behind something along with the end product -- the art teacher in me --- it's the way I think -- the how something is not just what it is.
Anyway, I will always be your biggest fan and if you did something totally crappy --- I WOULD TELL YOU!!!!

I just have a Sony 3CCD camera, so I'm in pretty much the same situation you are. It sucks being a poor filmmaker, that's why I usually resort to video editing to earn some money for more professional film equipment.

I think considering the camera you had, the movie has rather impressive cinematography. It was interesting how you took the story of origin and made it into modern day.

What's up Geoff? Man, I tell ya, due to the majority of my production staff being away at college, we have fallen behind schedule, so we won't be able to film the entire movie this summer, just the trailer. Do you have any experience in sword fighting?

Thanks for the add. We're currently in pre-production for a short film based on Book 1 Edmund Spenser's "The Faerie Queene". The massive amounts of religious symbolism in the story tends to be very interesting.
