The Lionheart from Relix Magazine sample
“Time bends and you blast past planets, stars, solar systems, to arrive in a thrilling, exotic place you’ve never been before. The New Cartographers take you on the same kind of wild ride, exploring brave new musical worlds and bending concepts like looping and melody to their own virtuosic ways. McSurely and drummer Michael Petrucci map out fresh territory, using rock improvisation and textural sonics to define a terrain rich in sweeping beauty, daring in scope, and bristling with creative energy. Recording in Roslindale, Massachusetts’ Big Big Studios with an analog tape machine, vintage plate and spring reverbs, a sampler, and a handful of stomp boxes, they create what McSurely playfully calls “retro sounds of the future.

when this much-ballyhooed "visual element" to the B/3.1 experience has a tangible example, please slap it on my comments space.
you know you're a clever businessman. or an artist who likes to create themes than turn your back on your own self-created artistic
identity. or
both. point is, according to yr blog post of 2+ weeks ago, you're managing to add something improve the cash flow for a musician (concerts) with a minimal effort WHILE refining the object which most musicians prefer to work on anyway (social rejects that they are) - the album. which brings the kids and their $ to the concert. and thus begins the cycle.
yes, your a clever sort.
ps- of course, these blogs are weeks old.
maybe you've changed yr ideas again ;-)

Your music is a trip man. Thanks for accepting. I really like "Forget What the Angel Told You". I also make all my own music incorporating live & electronic. I play with two different improv bands: Death Country Blues & Jam Club... oops, I forgot the first rule of Jam Club. Anyway, this band, let's call it Spam Chubb, is an open project inviting whippersnappers to wet their feet and old folks to knock the dust off. One day by sheer numbers we will take over the world... of Rock.
I've got alot of new stuff in progress. I'll let you know when I post it. Peace and chicken feet.

Hm... by spam, do you mean the electronic kind, favored by companies trying to sell ringtones? Or the meat-in-a-can variety? I would think the aural aesthetic to the latter would be much more interesting.
