May I be a cheeky bunny and bung a plug for a rather fantastic double whammy on your comments please?
Tis Led Zep Too this Friday March 13th..lucky for some!……
Plus the very fantastic Harare the day after, Saturday 14th……
Both gigs are at the Shire Hall at Howden….both cost a credit crunch busting tenner….both can be seen in glorious detail at the Howden Live website……where ticket purchase details for BOTH gigs can be seen.
Just one click on the HL link on me Myspace will take you there.
I thank you,
Mark.

May I presume to bung a plug for what promises to be the gig of the year, or any other year for that matter, on your comments please?
It is the men known as THE UKRANIANS with comedic support from The Hull Blokes and some danceable ditties from Lynne Scratch Perry.
Its this Friday April 3rd at the Shire Hall at Howden.
“A new musical form might just have been born – Cossack thrash!”
fRoots
“A competition between the band and the audience as to who’s having the most fun”
Uncut
“Going to a Ukrainians concert is like attending the mother of all parties”
Q
“Intoxicating as ice-cold vodka knocked back in one!”

Hi - thanks for your friendship.

the Thin Line
Apr 4, 2009 3:58 AM
Dear John,
is it possible that there could be an eighties musician who was not influenced by you, somehow?
No matter how full of ourselves, we got, or anally retentive about the 'artistry and intellect' of the 'movement', we could always look knowingly at each other and say, "well, there is 'Headbutts', isn't there?".
And how could anything ever be so unique, intelligent, funny, satirical, meaningless and virtuostic, at the same time?
In many ways, Headbutts summarizes a whole wave of music far better than a shelf full of vinyl that no-one listens to, anymore.
- we salute you Sir, the Thin Line

Heartfelt thanks for accepting CrackTown's hand of friendship - as opposed to shitting in it.
Some have, sad to say; being an underpaid acoustic act on the fringes of credibility isn't always as glamourous as it sounds...
Keep it gangsta, "y'all" - and enjoy that bit of flawless hillbilly vernacular.
