Lee, I didn't know you but I love your sister like she is one of my own. It will be a year soon and the road has been long and hard for her. But you would be very proud of her. She has come a long way in this year. I cann't wait to see what this next year will bring. I know you are watching over her so you keep watching and I'll keep praying and maybe the year will not be as long and as hard for her. People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide y ou with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at
an inconvenient time, this person will say or do
something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Lee....I didn't really know you that well but I knew you well enough to know you were one of the most genuine people that I have ever met. You always had a smile and something funny to say. I'll never forget the time you played softball with us and you had all those errors in that one inning but you kept playing and laughing cause you knew it wasn't a big deal and that basically we all had a ton of errors too and we sucked anyway. Hopefully things are going okay and your enjoying some good music and some good parties.

In this world, you'll be missed and remembered, and you'll continue to live on in each one of us, and in the next world we'll all catch up exactly where things left off. I'll see you again soon enough, and I'll bring a bass so you can teach me how to play this go around. I will miss you, my highschool journalism friend, and I will always remember how you helped bring me to an understanding of God.

Lee, I am not sure whether those who have passed can read myspace, but know that I truly did love you and miss you my brother. Memories such as Mr. K's class, "Ghoti Hook, sound it out...", your varsity jacket, make a joyful noise, skankin', the prom committee, the talent show one man band. You were taken way too soon. I know you lived the right life and you are in a way better place. One day we will meet again, I know it. I will always have our yearbook and the senior video anytime I need a "Squiggins" refresher. Take care Lee, I know you are looking out for me from above.

If you haven't heard yet, I am sorry to tell you, but Lee passed away, Friday Oct. 14. Services will be held at Medulla Baptist Church on Thursday Oct. 20. The viewing will be from 12- 1pm. The service will follow at 1pm. If you need more info you can contact me through MySpace, if you are coming in from out of town (VSU) and need a place to stay let me know. Thanks for the compliment - it means a lot coming from a fellow musician. :) Actually its more common for people to compliment the band as a whole or the songs, but individual musician compliments (especially for a bass player) are more rare, so thanks!
