Hi David,

Fab new songs at the Bedford with Dave Gibson last night, he has such good sense of rhythm and melody - much more energy in the set.  Oh love hearing your piano. Wished I could have made it. 

The live album shoot Manchester was magic fun, I got cool b & w shots. Fleetwood Mac gig tonight. busy busy...right now. Hope your well.

See you have been away for a while.
Went to my first concert here last Friday, they were rock bands called the Valves and Midnight youth really huge here in NZ and Aussie
Guess what the venue was called The Bedford
My ears and head Saturday morning as the place was small and the music went through you.
Fans don't pressure the celebrities here like they do in the UK even the Rugby players can shop, go out in normal places without being pressured.

Hope this makes you laugh, Helen thought it was funny, it wasn't bad enough that one of our cases was missing, we thought we would declare one of the cases as we brought back some dried onions and peas, they said it was ok, but after it was scanned they wanted us to open the case, as Barry had bought some jars of Picalili and packed them in his new trainers, and we had some millions in there had burst and fell out everywhere, we had to take our clothes etc, and try to put it all back in again. I bet they thought what on earth the case was packed with goodies, so many sweets(Haribo)etc.
Everything was ok though
Dawn was so upset she didn't get her suitcase for two days.

I am home in New Zealand now and yes it is definately home now, the Uk was just so crouded with tourists, i love the open spaces here.
Missed watching you at the regal rooms too, didn't have access to a computer in the Uk, should of been here at the time.

HAPPY JULY DAYS! David

I notice your 'White Noise' Ep is no 1 indiestore tonight! How nice. Weather here is hot and muggy – I hope Murray can play well and win his next game, how tense was his last one!

I had Mugdock festival last week, it was fun and some very cool artists. Michael Marra played this theatre with the grand piano on one side and tiered semi-circular seating for 50, a perfect venue for him - great gig. John McCusker was fab too – and Eddi Reader showed up! I met her and had a chat with Marra. Brilliant and unassuming artist.
