In college, I played your records. Many years later, you booked a show at Gaston Hall at Georgetown U and for old times sake I went. We climbed up many stairs in an old building, only to find a hand-written sign, PENGUIN CAFE ORCHESTRA CANCELLED. So we looked out of a tower and dug the view. Many years after that I dreamed of that visit and took that as a sign to change my life. I enrolled at Georgetown U, got two more degrees and a new career. And looked out of those windows lots and lots. In a strange way, I feel I owe it all to you Penguins.
