The Perfect God (a little deeper) - In Genesis chapter 1 God took six days to create the world and rested on the seven day. God examine his work during creation and saw that it was good. So a person might think the word good is mentioned six times in Genesis chapter 1 for the six days of creation, but that’s not so. On the second day of creation God did NOT say that it was good in Genesis 1:6-8. So a person might think the word good is only mention 5 times during creation, but that’s not so. The fact is the word good is mentioned seven times in Genesis Chap 1. Biblically the number seven means complete and perfect. God created the world perfect and said “behold it was very good” (Genesis 1:31). God is perfect and the world was created perfect.
