Hey Myspacers!

I am a team leader for the event Relay For Life. It is an organization that raises money every year to go towards finding the cure for cancer. It seems these days that everyone knows of someone dying from cancer. Most of which, is in their own family.

My grandmother is dying from lung cancer. She has had it for over 15 years now but it has spread. She doesn't recognize her sons and daughters, let alone her grandsons and daughters. She is a tough lady. She has been through a lot and has overcome many trials and tribulations. She is the reason I want to become a nurse. Married to a farmer and has 6 grown children, she knows what hard work is. I am asking you to help make her fight a little easier.

Mother also, has cancer. Another extraordinary lady, she has 6 children of her own; 3 of which are still in elementary school. She served her country as a Naval Air Traffic Controller for 20 years before retiring to be an at home mom.

Because cancer does run in my family, I know that my brother and I are at high risk for developing cancer. It is through organizations and events such as Relay for Life, that I have hope that someday, we will find a cure.

For Bangor/Orono residents, Relay For Life Event is April 13 and 14th at UMO. It starts at 4pm Friday at the Field house and ends 10 am Saturday. You don't have to stay the entire time but we will be honored if you showed your support.

Just wanted to wish you and the family a happy New Year. When are you coming back this way again?
Looks like I will be back to work as of Jan. 15th, working for Geico. I'm not really thrilled about it, but it's a job and pays a lot better than I was making before, plus it's right across the street from my house. I'm still looking for other possibilities as well. So much drama going on here right now.

Hey Randy!

I'm really excited right now and hyper and a big dork BUT I just found out that my biological father found my older brother whom I haven't been able to talk to in 4 years, on myspace. (That's a run-on sentence if there ever was one.) I gave him (my brother) a call and I'm an aunt as of OCT 23rd. Her name is Nevaeh-Heaven spelled backwards. He is actually living down in Florida and has his own company with a couple of friends. He does the wiring for houses hooking up security systems, Internet, music, and all sorts of fun stuff. Supposedly, he can have all the electronic gear respond off of one remote. He is oober smart. I couldn't do that.

I am really jazzed and I want to go running down the hall and hug everyone; I'm so happy.

Anyways...hope all is well with you and the family.

Hey Randy!

I got some bad news. Ryan is sick. He just woke up in the middle of the night and was wiped out. I wish I was there to take care of him.

How is the family doing? I heard a congratulations is in order. I'm very happy for you. I know this has been a long time coming.

As for me, school is keeping me super busy and so is the Navy. I hit a deer last Monday. Scariest night of my life. I don't know if Ryan told you but in case he did, I'm otay and the car just needs a new windshield and side mirror. It could have been a lot worse.

Hey...I like my page!! Is your company hiring out this way? I will be out of work in less than 60 days. AOL gave us the notice last wednesday that we will no longer have a job as of Dec. 16th. Ryan is doing good. His mouth still hurts of course but the docs gave him some good drugs. He is very swollen and wants some solid food. And boy is he a pill! LOL
