Would anyone associated with The Cauldron like an opportunity stringing for a daily newspaper in Northeast Ohio? Well, the Lorain Morning Journal is currently looking for sports stringers. You would primarily be used as a desk clerk during the evenings, both weeknights and weekends (except Sunday), taking phone calls from coaches calling in games, doing writeups, taking stats, etc. You would also have the opportunity to cover games (mostly football on Friday nights). It's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at a daily newspaper, and can be a good place for internships. Sound interesting?
