"Slow Motion" reminds me of "Loved" era Cranes material, probably the subtly majestic feel and the almost orchestral keyboard sounds. Nice.

hello.

undertow sounds beautiful, very haunting, almost nautical like a creeping creaking deserted ship.

when the carpet melts would make a great 7"..

we should definitely look into making some film stuff..

hoora and all that.

Hey, just wanted to say big up for the Green Boat, which has been on constant rotation on my player for 2 months. Never heard such captivating self-looping work since early (golden era) frippertronics.
Pure aural delight!

Navidson Record- 'This Is Not For You'

Joe Morris named his musical alias after the Mark Z. Danielewski novel, and manages to capture the emotional content of the book in this beautifully quiet, yet breathtaking debut. The album ranges from ambient electronica, to gentle post-rock with a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. Think Susumu Yokota ina particularly solemn mood, but that's not to say this album is at all depressing. At times it's highly affirming and wonderfully charming.

'Any Old Iron' is just amazing. There's something really not quite right about it, but it's completely RIGHT!!!! It's so beautifully odd and so much fun to listen to. Great job, Mister Mark :)

Defeat by Wig Anne is very very sweet. It's naive and innocent, and whispers gently in your ear that's it's okay to be naive and innocent. The beautiful soft sounds and delightful, uplifting melody allows you to slip back into a child-like mindset as you walk slowly, gazing upwards capturing the suns rays rippling through the gaps between the leaves of the trees, completely taken back by the moment. It's just beautiful.

The Yellow Square has to be my favourite SF release so far. I'm listening to it a lot lately... I think you capture perfect moments and let time frost over the memories ever so slightly, resulting in pure nostalgic and dream-like bliss. Cleverly executed, beautifully played and intricately assembled. It's a timeless album too which makes it even more special.
