Great set at The Drake. Brides blast-out guitar-driven acrobatics boasting a style that draws on the sonic-collages of The Velvet Underground, Can, and Japanese noise-rock. With shards of violin and sax igniting a wave of sound, this speaker-throbbing frenzy flows from ear-piercing guitar bedlam to thrashing prog-like interludes, like a burst of lightning illuminating midnight sky.

i thought i commented yesterday...but i dont know where that went.. anyways, nice to meet you last night. i was BLOWN AWAY (if you couldn't tell from my post-show speechlessness). Everyone said good things about you, but holy fuck, that was way beyond expectations. i took a few pictures so hopefully they will turn out.
i am looking very forward to the next toronto show!!
