Description:

After the release of Parkdale, elizabeth shepherd has known one long year of travels - from Japan to Europe, to the U.S. and across Canada. On the coattails of her most recent tour - this time with Juno-award winning Jane Bunnett, Telmary, and Grupo Vocal Desandann - she will now be settling down for a brief hiatus from the road, in order to finish her upcoming album. With no title as of yet, this album already boasts nuance, subtlety and an accessibility that is bound to keep her safely outside of categorization .

We invite you to join us at Hugh's Room on Wednesday July 22nd for a wrap-up show with the elizabeth shepherd quartet, featuring Scott Kemp on the bass, Colin Kingsmore on drums, and Roman Tome on percussion. And who knows - she may just grace you with a sampling of what's in the works from our local, rising jazz/singer-songwriter star.
