Arlene, I am planning to buy all of your husband's films and book to honor his memory and to learn to be better filmmakers.

Are you planning to make Battlezone Hawaii or is it cancelled?

Arlene, thanks for the add. I have my memories, but I really miss Andy and that wit of his. "Dallas Connection" is my all time favorite and I just wish you all the best in keeping the legacy alive. Take care!

Hi Arlene & Drew. Hope all's well. The new issue of The Phantom of the Movies' VideoScope should be out now, with my tribute to Andy in it. I thought it was going to be part of a larger tribute section, but the Phantom thought it was so heartfelt and spot-on on that, other than his own words of praise and remembrance, it's all he ran. I feel so honored, but humbled, too.

Thanks for the add. I have enjoyed your films over the years and I learned much about low budget filmmaking from them. I am sorry to hear the great Andy is gone, but happy to know the family will continue his legacy. Keep up the great work you all do. Looking forward to your future films.

I am sorry to hear of this. I was a huge fan of Andy's movies but also his personality. As a new filmmaker, it was nice to see his independent approach to filmmaking and his very pleasant mannerisms on display in the extras and the audio commentaries in the dvds.

I hope that he did not suffer than that his lovely wife Arlene is okay.

His movies and his TV work are his legacy. A finer body of work would be hard to find.

REST IN PEACE
John

Andy, my dear friend...

I already miss you. The tears come so easily...

I hope God "gets the joke" pal...maybe you guys can split a cheese sandwich up there...

You were a great friend for a lot of years and, the world is a little more grey and empty now...

We had a lot of fun, I'll always treasure my memories of you & our times together.

Love ya

Hi there,

I wanted to express my deepest condolences and sympathy to the Sidaris family & friends. I am totally shocked by the news from Andy's passing.

I became a young fan after I had seen "Do or Die" which it is still one of my favorites movies. It was also one of my fantasies that I wished to work with Andy Sidaris on a future project in my film career.

Andy, you got to work with sooo many gorgeous women. I got introduced to Julie Strain from your movies as I became another fan of her films. They don't make movies with the same vision and style anymore. I was showned to a whole other world of independent filmmaking.

I am so happy that I own the entire Babes, Bullets and Bombs dvd collection which I can watch over again all of my favorite Andy's movies along with his commentaries to moviemaking.

Thanks so much for the great entertainment, Andy. You will be truly missed, sir but I'm sure you are directing your next great explosive scenes up there in the heavens with all the other screen legends. R.I.P.

Your Canuck fan,

~Ian"Flash"Jennings

In Loving Memory of My Good Friend, Andy. 2/20/1931 - 3/7/2007. I first met Andy writing an article about him for Femme Fatales magazine. Then, we met several times in NYC at the premieres of some of his films. We kept in touch often over the years, and I was also delighted to hear from him. He was a warm, kind, and charming man, and I'll miss him a lot. I hope he's playing baseball up there with his brother.
