To answer that question , the club has banquets booked until after the first of the year . These are private parties that had rented the space prior to the closing notification .

I have a question that maybe a Disney insider might could answer,I was at Downtown Disney last night and I thought I would do some reminiscing so I walked through Pleasure Island to see how it looks since the good parts of it shut down and when I went by the Adventurers Club the lights were turned on inside and the entrance door on the front was wide open and inviting,my friend went up to the two cast members standing by the door but all they would say was "everything's closed",but no reason why it had the appearance of being open when it is now supposed to be closed.

Dave , As one who was lucky enough to be a part of the last year ...I don't know any of them that didn't LOVE what they did . To my knowledge no one is or was angry . I'm sure most , given the chance would do it again .

Hello everybody, According to the following article from the Orlando Sentinel, the Kungaloosh, signature drink of the club, will be back on the Island this Saturday (Nov. 8) for a one-night stand at Laffers Cantina. I don't know if this is true but I plan on showing up and would be good to see some fellow adventurers.

Thank you to all of the cast, throughout the years, who have made us laugh and welcomed us into this wonderful club! My heart overflowed, along with so many others in the Main Salon, Library and those who could not get inside, when Emil sang When You Go. I hope that someone got that on tape and will post it. The lyrics are online and no truer words have ever been said.

Does anyone have Emils final song. I downloaded the original from iTunes, but its not the same. When Emil sang, it almost tore my heart out of my chest.

I was at the club at 830 am to get in for the final night...and even though I had to watch the Hoopla in the Main Salon, I got to spend it with my closest friends...which I met all at the cloob! Thanks for the years of laughter, tears, and great memories! Til we meet again

What a night it was... After 2 hours we finally made it in for the last Hoopla...Hoopla! What an adventure it was. I was fine until it was time to leave. I was soaking in every last detail...I cried as I pushed my way out for the very last time. I'll treasure the memories forever. Kungaloosh, fellow adventurers. Til we meet again...

Thanks for the add! I am sad to know that I won't ever get the chance to have one more "Hoopla" (Hoopla!) at the AC but am very happy to see that you have a My Space page where I can visit as often as I want. I will miss my most favorite place at Disneyworld and hope one day soon they will bring it back.

i was so upset i couldn't come down for one more kungaloosh. i just wanted to say that this place was definantly the highlight of my disney trip this year and am going to truly miss it. it saddens me that they would get rid of a place where people had such good times to put more shops and resturantes. when i was down there i found out that one of the people i was talking to all night actually got engaged there. well, good luck to all of you in the future. you truely mad my 2008 trip to disney a memorable one.

can only echo previous comment, was my favourite place on earth to. visiting disney just wont have half the attraction now. thank you to all at AC who gave me so much pleasure over the years.

I was so happy to be there for your last hoopla!!!! (even though it was outside) You are my favorite place in the entire world!!! And as one of the last lines of the show went THIS CLUB WILL ALWAYS LIVE ON WHERE EVER PEOPLE ARE DRINKING!!!!!

I so wanted to be there Saturday for the final night, but alas, it's not going to happen.

I may be hundreds of miles away this weekend, but I'll raise a toast to my Club and all my fellow Adventurers Saturday night.

We should do a simultaneous toast for all the Adventurers who can't make it. Saturday, at midnight, Club time, raise a glass to the Club. Let's get pics of all the toasts from around the world and post them here.

Hey Adventurers!
Along with the message to keep writing letters now, don't stop the letter writing once the club has closed for us either. Keep it up weeks and especially months after it has closed. Around December/January, start letter writing campaigns again in full force as much as you did when you found out about the closing. TRUST ME, this is JUST as important to do. Just because its closing, doesn't mean its being demolished. Also, it doesn't mean they can't bring it back elsewhere. Remember, please, don't stop the letters, calls, emails, video making... Ever.
If they think we gave up once its closed, they won't take our pleas seriously unless we just never stop! :)
