tech bizzlesean t-bone	Jun 27, 2007 4:08 AM the city of houston is about to build a massive concrete park in downtown houston. this isnt some small little pre-fab shit park.... this is the real deal and it isnt going to let in bikes. this park is wait yall have dreamed of having in your own town and its NO BIKES ALLOWED. pushhouston.org are the ones doing alot of planing and it the have it thier way a bike wont touch that park. thats where YOU come in and fight to change that. THE CITY OF HOUSTON HAS THE MONEY AND THE DESIGNS ARE DONE. they are going to BREAKGROUND VERY VERY SOON!!!. ive emailed pushhouston a number of times asking about the no bikes and they ignored every email. guess they figure that we wont fight this and we will just go away. sure they raised alot of money but that is public land and is ment for public use. BIKES ARE GETTING STABED IN THE BACK ON THIS DEAL. this has to change and has to change now so everyone needs to GET INVOLVED!!!! once they pour that concrete they wont change thier mind. so tell everyone from your friends , parent , local bike shop, neibors to the people you work with. this can not wait THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE NOW OR NOTHING WILL!!! email the city of houston over and over. even call them. EMAIL AND CALL THE MAYOR OF HOUSTON BILL WHITE!!!. CONTACT JOE JAMAIL AND EMAIL HIM cause after all joe jamail did put the most money up andf should have the most say. contact the parks dept. and ask them questions.... BOTHER THE HELL OUTTA PUSHHOUSTON.ORG!!!! go to thier meetings and raise hell. go to city meetings and ask questions. go to events and show support as well as protest. THE TIME IS NOW TO DO SOMETHING !!!!!! dont wait till its too late cause once that concrete is poured there is no going back. the money isnt pushhouston's money its the people that donated it to have a place for everyone to enjoy aka "the public". iIF NOTHING IS DONE BY YOU THE YOU ARE TO BLAME FOR THIS. LETS GET THIS CHANGED AND LETS NOT LET THIS FORM OF DISCRIMANATION HAPPEN IN OU
