Jan 27, 2009 5:28 PM intimate family twist you say? i avoided one of those this week; my parents wanted me to go to the goldcoast for a few days, but yeah, not really keen on confining myself to their company in the sweltering heat. i love them and all, but...yeah. I hate to generalise, but I know what you mean about muzzas. I was at maccas today and one was served fries that weren't fresh, he walked away, then came back a minute later and said 'gimme fresh ones.' no manners whatsoever. my little brother had a housewarming party tonight, so that's where I am now, but I can't sleep. One of my brother's friends is having a fight with his girlfriend and all I can hear is periodical sobbing. it's somewhat disconcerting. It's been going for like half an hour, and I kinda wanna say "listen, unless you've been impregnated, suck it up." anywho, tired now. sleep time now. x marc

Jan 25, 2009 12:51 PM we are playing with the best local melbourne outfit I've seen, a band by the name of alba varden. strangely, they're opening the night, but they ought to be headlining. dirty pinky jeans are next and they're pretty cool. then it's our good friends the violet flames, who we are doing a joint launch with. so yeah, sweet, sweet line-up. the challenge for us is to do it justice! fingers crossed. "tombstone" and "i saw a ufo" are resoundingly brilliant! congrats on getting into that course! by the looks of it though, you thoroughly deserve it. yeah, that'd be great to get your help on the ep design! woo! Jan 25, 2009 11:58 AM as a matter of fact, we need some artwork for the front of a single we're launching on the 20th of feb. maybe you could help us out? that would be awesome considering your sweet skillz. thank you for the compliment about isolation. we'll definitely be putting that one on our ep when we record properly in june. you're speaking to marc, sorry for my lack of introduction. i'm terrible at that! if you're gonna come to a gig in the near future, try and make it down to the launch at the evelyn. that's gonna be a big show, and we're playing with some amazing bands. seriously, i want to re-iterate how highly i rate your photos. they're exceptional. are you studying or something? how has your night been anyway darlin? x marc

Dec 17, 2008 6:49 AM hahahaha heya! i'm very good, how've you been? yes i loveeee digitalism :) my boyf got me a ticket, his friends know most of the people that run a lot of indie/electronic type gigs which is really awesome, at the last minute we were able to get tix for nevereverland which was lucky. but have you been to Forum? cos that's where they're playing and i've never been, hopefully it's a good venue. i've been good!! i didn't go to schoolies cos i am a tightass lol, but i saw your journal on dev.art and i'm glad you had fun on yours, ooh and also congrats on your job that sounds fucking awesome.. photoshopping all day sounds much better then me working at a fruit shop LOL ah well it's still money at the end of the day :P ooh and my interview went really well despite the fact that i left my 'transcript' at home, which was my school report so i looked like a massive n00b cos the woman interviewing me was all like WHERE IS ITTTTTTT -____- HAHAH and so i rushed home scanning like 20 fucking pages of my vce reports! but it was worth it i guess, i received an A letter today so im stoked! are you changing preferences n shite? hope you're having a good break and have a great christmas as well, and sorry about the lengthy replyy (A) xoxoxo

Alyssia	Nov 25, 2008 10:48 AM hey don't worry about it im sure you will be fine!! im going to be there from 10:00 till round 12ish cutting up prints for the BA interview so if your there i will definatly say hello. k any other tips i will give is: talk about some of your pics and the concept behind them. they will ask who your favorite photographers are so just have them ready and name a pic from one that you like that drew inspiration to a photo that you did...hope that makes sense oh you also have to tell me what teachers you get as well (just curious) anything else you want to ask and im more then happy to answer!! i'll message you my mobile number so that you can call tomorrow if you want.
