You can see a mention at http://teanassie.blogspot.com/ which is one of the schools I'm visiting. They are planning to record the children singing Seinn o and Brochan Lom when they've got the whole songs, then they'll add that to the blog.

Tomorrow I'm in Sutherland teaching the childen playground games they can play in Gaelic - quite a thought that they need someone coming in to teach that...!

Hullo there!
Just spotted a clip on you tube with you singing Seinn o - which is one of the songs I'm teaching just now in schools as part of the Youth Music Initiative over here. The kids are loving it!
One wee lassie was begging 'can we do that again?' the last day I was in, and we've only covered the refrain and one verse so far.

Hi jennifer,

I just read that you have a program that helps children who go through Chemo therapy and provide them with hats; we have a similar program up here in Canada called "Locks of Love" that provide human hair to make wigs; my niece and several of her classmates spent a whole year growing their hair to have it cut off and my niece just donated 13 inches of hers, have you heard of this program?

Thank you for accepting my invite to be a friend on my board.
I have to say this is real funny, a few years ago I downloaded a free song some where called "Fear A Bhata" and I fell in love with this lovely version and is one of my favorite songs that I use to teach myself the pennywhistle with; then I was surfing around for some new friends and saw you had this song, so I took a listen and right away I knew this was the same song that I've been practicing with but now I know who the singer is :)
I have to say too that every time I play it tears well up in my eyes because it sounds like a song I may have heard growing up, maybe my grand-mother or someone used to sing it, anyway you do it beautifuly

So, it looks like we'll be down your way this night of nights! We're playing at Evening Muse in Charlotte tonight and would love to see you while we're down. The show begins at around 8pm and if Micah keeps his clothes on, we should be able to put on a pretty great set. If not, then at least it'll be entertaining. :-)
