Hi Stewart, interessant, da muss ich erstmal drüber nachdenken.

Frage: Ist die Null zur gleichen Zeit entstanden (/wichtig geworden) zu der man die Notwendigkeit gebrochener Zahlen ( 1,05) festgestellt hat? Beziehungsweise: Was ist mit der Null in 10, 20...100?
Oder hat man schon weit vorher (unabhängig quasi von Mathematik!) begriffen, dass man ein Wort braucht, welches das Nicht-Vorhandensein einer Sache, die ansonsten vorhanden ist, zum Ausdruck bringt??
Ich tendiere ja zur Mathematikthese,...wäre aber sehr gespannt, wenn Du es genauer weißt.
