Jul 5, 2006 11:34 PM aww, shame cus babyboom were mint! the fish were alright, but had a reel (lol, geddit?) short set, and i missed them play ready or not as i was interviewing someone outside ...bah i've stuck some lock up pics up here and here, i will get round to sending you some slightly bigger versions soon, but it requires a bit of resizing and i haven't done that yet. x
James J Barrett	Jul 5, 2006 11:09 PM right daz here are the most important things regarding this recording: saturday and sunday, 10-6 both days. we can arrive slightly earlier in order to set up and make the most of our time, but 10-6 is the designated noise time. absolutely no drugs to be had. and no smoking indoors. the studio is very small, and there is no form of entertainment up there. so the golden rule in my opinion is to have as few band members sitting around doing nothing at any one time as possible. with this in mind, i think we should send up on the first day, griff, big dave, darren and chippy, and i think skink wants to be in on the recording process. get drums done in the morning, and then guitars and bass in the afternoon. on sunday, darren and skink go up in the morning and record keys. then if tom, mel and benj can arrive at around midday to do vocals all afternoon, that'll be ace. now, i've got to work from 9 am - 10 pm on both saturday and sunday and by the looks of things it is 100% non negotiable for me to get out of either. so i might have to return on the monday to record my trumpet, in which case i might get owen do with me at the same time? however, i do not want this to end up like the other recording and never get the brass done, so maybe we'll force owen to do it on one of the two days, and i know i'll get on and do my parts because it's easier to kick oneself up their own arse than it is someone else's! now, any questions?
